- Short-term experience as a “Bolsas de Verão CNPEM” fellow (CNPEM)
- I was assigned to a scientific mini-project to be performed in two months, under supervision and evaluation by the institute’s researchers
- Duties included: PCR insertion cloning, protein purification and characterization using a prokaryote overexpression system

- Experience as a foreign student in the frame of the “Science without Borders” program (CAPES/CNPq)
- I was responsible for conducting cell culture experiments for IFAM researchers desiring to test a specific material, in accordance to ISO 10993-5 (biocompatibility of medical devices)
- Duties included: Cell culture maintenance, experiment planning and organization, collaboration with IFAM researchers for addressing their scientific questions
